Après que chacun d’eux ait eu l’occasion de présenter une exposition solo, il m’a paru particulièrement intéressant, en tant que curatrice, de mettre en lumière leurs points communs. Bien que leurs travaux soient très différents dans leurs techniques, leurs médiums et leurs approches,
un fil conducteur subtil les relie : le geste artistique,
à la fois signature unique et matière vivante de leur création. Cette confrontation révèle une richesse insoupçonnée, où diversité rime avec complémentarité,
et où chaque œuvre dialogue dans une temporalité propre. « Du bout des doigts » réunit donc trois pratiques artistiques où le geste est à la fois
signature et matière.
Helios Galahad, Jean-Marie Isnard et Guillaume Thunis tissent avec une finesse saisissante,
une méticulosité obsessionnelle, des œuvres où chaque fragment, ligne ou motif s’inscrit
dans une temporalité.
Le regard y trouve une énergie discrète, un silence vibrant, qui fait entendre
le bruit intérieur du processus créatif.

Na dat ieder van hen de kans heeft gehad om een solotentoonstelling te presenteren, leek het mij als curator bijzonder interessant om hun gemeenschappelijke kenmerken te belichten. Hoewel hun werk sterk verschilt in techniek, medium en benadering,
wordt het subtiel met elkaar verbonden door één leidraad: de artistieke geste,
tegelijk een unieke handtekening én een levend materiaal binnen hun creatieproces. Deze confrontatie onthult een onverwachte rijkdom,
waar diversiteit en complementariteit hand in hand gaan
en waar elk werk in zijn eigen tijdsdimensie tot de ander spreekt. “Du bout des doigts” verenigt drie artistieke praktijken waarin het gebaar zowel handtekening als materie is.
Helios Galahad, Jean-Marie Isnard en Guillaume Thunis weven met verbluffende fijnzinnigheid
en een bijna obsessieve nauwgezetheid werken waarin elk fragment, elke lijn of elk motief
zich inschrijft in een specifieke temporaliteit. De blik ontdekt er een stille energie, een vibrerende stilte,

After each of them had the opportunity to present a solo exhibition, it seemed to me, as curator, particularly interesting to highlight their common ground. Although their works differ greatly in technique, medium, and approach,
they are subtly connected by a shared thread: the artistic gesture,
at once a unique signature and the living substance of their creation. This encounter reveals an unexpected richness,
where diversity rhymes with complementarity,
and where each work engages in a dialogue within its own temporality. “Du bout des doigts” thus brings together three artistic practices
in which gesture serves both as signature and as material.
Helios Galahad, Jean-Marie Isnard, and Guillaume Thunis weave,
with striking finesse and almost obsessive precision,
works in which every fragment, line, or motif is inscribed in time. The gaze encounters a discreet energy, a vibrant silence,
that makes audible the inner resonance of the creative process.
